You are eating a plate of gumbo when all of a sudden, a cute and mysterious Swamp Monster appears to steal your gumbo. You are angry and you begin to chase the monster until you are able to bring your gumbo back to safety. Set in Concert F and 4/4-time signature this piece starts off slow. The chase begins at measure 13 winds and percussion reinforcing the music lines. Eventually the percussion will have a section feature that requires skill and precision amongst your players. There are various times where each section has a feature with another section. Pay close attention to slurs and dynamics, this is what makes the piece exciting!
